Sky Default Router Passwords
This page lists 3 confirmed default credentials for Sky equipment, covering 3 models. The pairing you are most likely to need is admin with sky.
Entries are reachable over http. 2 of these entries use a protocol that sends the password in clear text, so use them on a trusted network and change the password once you are in.

About Sky
Sky supplies its own hubs to its UK broadband customers, from the Sky Q Hub to the Sky Broadband Hub and the Sky Max Hub.
Reaching the login page
The admin page on most Sky units answers at http://192.168.0.1. If that address does not load, the router is whatever your computer lists as its default gateway — ipconfig on Windows or ipconfig getoption en0 router on a Mac will tell you.
The username is admin. On the Sky Broadband Hub the default password is the hub’s own Wi-Fi password, printed on the back and on the connect card; on the older Sky Q Hub it is sky. The Sky Max Hub is managed in the My Sky app rather than a browser.
What the Sky defaults look like
Every entry uses the username admin. Where one is set, sky comes up most often, on 2 entries. 2 of them are reached over a protocol that puts the password on the wire in clear text, so work from a machine on the same wired network rather than across the internet, and change the password once you are in.

Sky Max Hub settings
Sky does not offer a browser login for the Sky Max Hub. Port forwarding, DMZ, turning Wi-Fi off and the security level are all in the My Sky app, under Broadband, then WiFi Settings, then Advanced settings.
Sky hub password not working
On the Sky Broadband Hub the default admin password is the Wi-Fi password printed on the back, so if the Wi-Fi password was changed first the admin one may have moved with it. When nothing works, the reset above returns both to what is printed on the hub.

If the Sky password has already been changed
Hold the Reset button on the back for about 10 seconds, or until the lights blink, and wait for the power, WiFi and internet lights to turn green. Then switch the hub off and on at the wall so your phone line keeps working. The passwords go back to those printed on the hub.
The catch with an ISP-supplied unit is that a reset also clears the broadband credentials, and on some lines the router will not reconnect until those are re-entered. Find them before you press anything, or be ready to ring the provider.
