brsk Default Router Passwords

This page lists 2 confirmed default credentials for brsk equipment, covering 2 models. The pairing you are most likely to need is admin with the password printed on that unit’s own label.

Entries are reachable over http. All of these entries use a protocol that sends the password in clear text, so use them on a trusted network and change the password once you are in.

On most brsk equipment the admin password is printed on the device itself, on its label or settings card. If it has been changed and you cannot recall it, a reset returns it to the printed one. Know a brsk model we are missing? Add it.

About brsk

brsk is a UK full-fibre provider supplying its own brsk Hub, and TP-Link routers on earlier installs.

Reaching the login page

The admin page on most brsk units answers at http://192.168.1.1. If that address does not load, the router is whatever your computer lists as its default gateway — ipconfig on Windows or ipconfig getoption en0 router on a Mac will tell you.

On the brsk Hub the username is admin and the password is on the label underneath. The white TP-Link Archer AX3000 has no printed admin password: you create one the first time you log in at 192.168.0.1.

What the brsk defaults look like

Usernames vary; admin is the one that appears most, on a single entry. One entry asks for no username at all. All of them are reached over a protocol that puts the password on the wire in clear text, so work from a machine on the same wired network rather than across the internet, and change the password once you are in.

Where brsk prints the admin password

Admin password is printed on the label underneath the brsk Hub. It is not the Wi-Fi password, even when both are on the same label.Drawn from brsk’s own description. The real label looks different and carries other details.

If the brsk password has already been changed

There is a recessed reset button on the back or underneath that needs a straightened paperclip. Hold it in for thirty seconds with the unit powered on. Let go when the lights change pattern, and give it a couple of minutes to come back up.

The catch with an ISP-supplied unit is that a reset also clears the broadband credentials, and on some lines the router will not reconnect until those are re-entered. Find them before you press anything, or be ready to ring the provider.
