Cogeco Default Modem Passwords
This page lists 6 confirmed default credentials for Cogeco equipment, covering 6 models. The pairing you are most likely to need is admin with password.
Entries are reachable over http. All of these entries use a protocol that sends the password in clear text, so use them on a trusted network and change the password once you are in.

About Cogeco
Cogeco supplies Sagemcom, Hitron, ARRIS and Cisco/Technicolor modems in Ontario and Quebec. The Cogeco records here run across the Arris and Hitron lines.
Reaching the login page
The admin page on most Cogeco units answers at http://192.168.0.1. If that address does not load, the router is whatever your computer lists as its default gateway — ipconfig on Windows or ipconfig getoption en0 router on a Mac will tell you.
The login depends on the modem. The current Sagemcom F@st 3896 answers on 192.168.40.1 and is mostly managed in the Cogeco Wi-Fi app; the older modems answer on 192.168.0.1.
What the Cogeco defaults look like
admin is the username on 3 of the 6 entries. One entry asks for no username at all. One model shipped with no password at all.
Where one is set, password comes up most often, on 2 entries. All of them are reached over a protocol that puts the password on the wire in clear text, so work from a machine on the same wired network rather than across the internet, and change the password once you are in.

If the Cogeco password has already been changed
Hold the reset button, in a small hole on the back, for 15 seconds with a toothpick or similar.
The catch with an ISP-supplied unit is that a reset also clears the broadband credentials, and on some lines the router will not reconnect until those are re-entered. Find them before you press anything, or be ready to ring the provider.
