2degrees Default Modem Passwords

This page lists 2 confirmed default credentials for 2degrees equipment, covering 2 models. The pairing you are most likely to need is admin with the password printed on that unit’s own label.

Entries are reachable over http. All of these entries use a protocol that sends the password in clear text, so use them on a trusted network and change the password once you are in.

On most 2degrees equipment the admin password is printed on the device itself, on its label or settings card. If it has been changed and you cannot recall it, a reset returns it to the printed one. Know a 2degrees model we are missing? Add it.

About 2degrees

2degrees supplies FRITZ!Box modems for fibre and Nokia FastMile gateways for 5G broadband.

Reaching the login page

The admin page on most 2degrees units answers at http://192.168.178.1, or at fritz.box if the router is handling your DNS. If that address does not load, the router is whatever your computer lists as its default gateway — ipconfig on Windows or ipconfig getoption en0 router on a Mac will tell you.

The FRITZ!Box 7530 asks only for the FRITZ!Box password on its base. The Nokia FastMile Gateway 3 uses 192.168.1.1 with the login admin and the password beside it on the bottom sticker.

What the 2degrees defaults look like

Usernames vary; admin is the one that appears most, on a single entry. One entry asks for no username at all. On 2 entries the password is unique to each unit and printed on its label.

All of them are reached over a protocol that puts the password on the wire in clear text, so work from a machine on the same wired network rather than across the internet, and change the password once you are in.

If the 2degrees password has already been changed

FRITZ!Box: unplug for 60 seconds, power on, open fritz.box and choose Forgot your password, then Restore factory settings. Nokia FastMile: hold the Reset hole for 30 seconds.

The catch with an ISP-supplied unit is that a reset also clears the broadband credentials, and on some lines the router will not reconnect until those are re-entered. Find them before you press anything, or be ready to ring the provider.
