Konica Minolta Default Router Passwords

This page lists 3 confirmed default credentials for Konica Minolta equipment, covering 3 models.

Entries are reachable over multi and http. 1 of these entries use a protocol that sends the password in clear text, so use them on a trusted network and change the password once you are in.

These are factory default credentials, not the password printed on the sticker under your router. If yours has been changed and you cannot recall it, a 30-second reset button hold returns the device to the defaults above. Know a Konica Minolta model we are missing? Add it.

About Konica Minolta

Konica Minolta supplies office multifunction printers and production print systems. The Konica Minolta records here run across the Magicolor line.

Reaching the login page

Point a browser at whatever your computer reports as its default gateway. On Windows that is the Default Gateway line from ipconfig; on macOS, Network settings shows it under the active connection.

What the Konica Minolta defaults look like

None of them ask for a username; the field is left empty. One model shipped with no password at all. One of them is reached over a protocol that puts the password on the wire in clear text, so work from a machine on the same wired network rather than across the internet, and change the password once you are in.

If the Konica Minolta password has already been changed

There is a recessed reset button on the back or underneath that needs a straightened paperclip. Hold it in for thirty seconds with the unit powered on. Let go when the lights change pattern, and give it a couple of minutes to come back up.

The catch with an ISP-supplied unit is that a reset also clears the broadband credentials, and on some lines the router will not reconnect until those are re-entered. Find them before you press anything, or be ready to ring the provider.
