Australian internet provider modem logins

Australian NBN providers supply their own modems, and most of them print the modem’s login on a sticker on that unit rather than using one shared default. A few older modems still use admin. This page shows which applies to each provider, and the address to type.

Look first
The sticker on the base or back of the modem. Most NBN providers print the modem login there.
Two passwords
One password opens the modem settings and another joins the Wi-Fi. On some Telstra modems they are the same, which the Telstra page explains.
Your provider
Choose it below. Its page has the address to type and the login for each modem.
Refused?
It has been changed. A reset puts back the login on the sticker.

Choose your provider

Each provider has its own page with the login for every model we have confirmed, where the password is printed, and how to reset it.

The password on the sticker does not work

Then the password has been changed since the modem was set up, by you, a previous occupant or the provider. A factory reset puts back the login printed on the sticker. Hold the reset button in with a paperclip while the modem is on; most providers say about 10 seconds, and the provider pages above give the exact time. A reset also restores the Wi-Fi name and password from the sticker, and on some NBN connections you will need to set the connection up again afterwards.

If what you want is to get onto the Wi-Fi rather than into the modem, you need the other password. Finding your Wi-Fi password covers reading it from the sticker or from a device that is already connected.

Providers not listed yet

Aussie Broadband, Dodo, Vodafone, Belong, Superloop and Exetel are missing because their help pages could not be checked, and we do not publish a login we cannot confirm. Launtel does not supply a modem.
