Nayatel Default Passwords

This page lists 2 confirmed default credentials for Nayatel equipment, covering 2 models. The pairing you are most likely to need is Epuser with userEp.

Entries are reachable over http. All of these entries use a protocol that sends the password in clear text, so use them on a trusted network and change the password once you are in.

These are the logins Nayatel itself publishes. If the password has been changed and you cannot recall it, a reset returns the device to the default above. Know a Nayatel model we are missing? Add it.

About Nayatel

Nayatel supplies Huawei fibre ONTs, and Ruijie and TP-Link routers, in Pakistan.

Reaching the login page

The admin page on most Nayatel units answers at http://192.168.18.1. If that address does not load, the router is whatever your computer lists as its default gateway — ipconfig on Windows or ipconfig getoption en0 router on a Mac will tell you.

Nayatel’s manual for its dual-band Huawei ONTs gives the username Epuser and password userEp, or the password printed on the back of the device. Nayatel asks customers never to press the Reset button, which wipes the ONT’s setup.

What the Nayatel defaults look like

Usernames vary; Epuser is the one that appears most, on a single entry. One entry asks for no username at all. All of them are reached over a protocol that puts the password on the wire in clear text, so work from a machine on the same wired network rather than across the internet, and change the password once you are in.

If the Nayatel password has already been changed

There is a recessed reset button on the back or underneath that needs a straightened paperclip. Hold it in for thirty seconds with the unit powered on. Let go when the lights change pattern, and give it a couple of minutes to come back up.

The catch with an ISP-supplied unit is that a reset also clears the broadband credentials, and on some lines the router will not reconnect until those are re-entered. Find them before you press anything, or be ready to ring the provider.
