Hikvision Default Camera Passwords
This page lists 7 confirmed default credentials for Hikvision equipment, covering 7 models. The pairing you are most likely to need is admin with a password you set at first login.
Entries are reachable over http, multi and https. 4 of these entries use a protocol that sends the password in clear text, so use them on a trusted network and change the password once you are in.

About Hikvision
Hikvision is the largest manufacturer of IP cameras and network video recorders.
Reaching the login page
The admin page on most Hikvision units answers at http://192.168.1.64. If that address does not load, the router is whatever your computer lists as its default gateway — ipconfig on Windows or ipconfig getoption en0 router on a Mac will tell you.
Cameras made after roughly 2015 ship inactive and force you to set a password before they will pass video, so there is no working factory password on current firmware.
What the Hikvision defaults look like
Every entry uses the username admin. On 4 entries there is no factory password; it is set when the device is first set up. 4 of them are reached over a protocol that puts the password on the wire in clear text, so work from a machine on the same wired network rather than across the internet, and change the password once you are in.
If the Hikvision password has already been changed
Cameras and recorders rarely have an accessible reset button. On a camera it is usually a small switch on the pigtail or under the dome that has to be held while power is applied. On a recorder the reset is normally a jumper or a button on the mainboard, which means opening the case. Several manufacturers will also generate a one-time unlock code from the device serial number and the current date if you contact their support with proof of ownership.
A reset on a recorder wipes the camera list, the recording schedule and the network settings, though it leaves the footage on the disks alone. Write down the IP addresses of the cameras first, because re-adding them one at a time is the slow part.
