MERCURY Default Router Passwords
This page lists 2 confirmed default credentials for MERCURY equipment, covering 2 models. The pairing you are most likely to need is Administrator with admin.
Entries are reachable over snmp. All of these entries use a protocol that sends the password in clear text, so use them on a trusted network and change the password once you are in.

About MERCURY
MERCURY is a budget networking brand sold mainly in China and owned by TP-Link.
Reaching the login page
The admin page on most MERCURY units answers at http://192.168.1.1. If that address does not load, the router is whatever your computer lists as its default gateway — ipconfig on Windows or ipconfig getoption en0 router on a Mac will tell you.
None of the MERCURY entries here are for a web interface — they are reached over snmp, which means a terminal or a serial console rather than a browser.
What the MERCURY defaults look like
Every entry uses the username Administrator. Where one is set, admin comes up most often, on 2 entries. All of them are reached over a protocol that puts the password on the wire in clear text, so work from a machine on the same wired network rather than across the internet, and change the password once you are in.
If the MERCURY password has already been changed
This is not hardware you reset with a paperclip. Recovery runs through the console port: interrupt the boot sequence, tell the bootloader to ignore the saved configuration, start up, read or clear the password, then save and reboot. The exact key sequence differs by platform and is in the vendor documentation under password recovery.
You need physical access and a serial cable for this, which is deliberate. Anything reachable only over the network cannot be recovered this way.
