These are factory default credentials, not the password printed on the sticker under your router. If yours has been changed and you cannot recall it, a 30-second reset button hold returns the device to the defaults above. Know a Paxton Access model we are missing? Add it.

About Paxton Access

The entries are logged as software appliances and management platforms. The single record we hold is for the NET2 ACCESS CONTROL SOFTWARE (INSTALLS BEFORE V5.04 SERVICE RELEASE 2).

Reaching the login page

Point a browser at whatever your computer reports as its default gateway. On Windows that is the Default Gateway line from ipconfig; on macOS, Network settings shows it under the active connection. None of the Paxton Access entries here are for a web interface — they are reached over console, which means a terminal or a serial console rather than a browser.

If the Paxton Access password has already been changed

This is not hardware you reset with a paperclip. Recovery runs through the console port: interrupt the boot sequence, tell the bootloader to ignore the saved configuration, start up, read or clear the password, then save and reboot. The exact key sequence differs by platform and is in the vendor documentation under password recovery.

You need physical access and a serial cable for this, which is deliberate. Anything reachable only over the network cannot be recovered this way.
